Speakers

Mrs. Williams is a Registered Health Information Administrator and is certified in Healthcare Privacy both through the American Health Information Management Association. She is also certified in Healthcare Compliance by the Healthcare Compliance Association. She is the Privacy Officer for BAPTIST HEALTH in Little Rock, Arkansas. She has worked in the Corporate Compliance department in a variety of roles since 2009. Prior to this, Mrs. Williams held the position of Director of Medical Records/Admissions at BAPTIST HEALTH Medical Center-Heber Springs in Heber Springs, AR for 11 years. She also serves as adjunct faculty for the Health Information Technology program at University of Arkansas Pulaski Tech. Mrs. Williams is a member of the Arkansas Health Information Management Association, the American Health Information Management Association, the Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society and the Healthcare Compliance Association. Mrs. Williams is an active speaker on privacy and compliance issues. She lives on a farm with her husband, Jeremy. They are the proud parents of two wonderful sons.
